We’re all looking forward to seeing everyone at our Mats Polo Welcome Barbecue on Tuesday, 9.4.07. Thanks to Juli Baier for organizing this event. Here are just a few things to keep in mind:

1. Photos will be taken, so send a check along with your player. Price list is attached to this email. Players can fill out forms on the spot. James has asked that all players wear their team suits from last year. Our new suits have not yet arrived. If your player has an extra suit from last year, please have him bring it so we can loan it to a player who doesn’t have one.
2. Parents: Be sure to bring your calendar to sign up for volunteer activities. This is an important part of the evening.
3. There will be a scrimmage demonstration featuring our players. J
4. Good news!! Our clothes have arrived and will be handed out that evening. Our swim suits should be here shortly.

Varsity players will meet at 12:00pm at the Miramonte traffic circle to carpool to the tournament on Friday.

The start of the 2007 season is Monday! Please make sure to take care of your athletic clearance by 8am on Monday... players who do not have their athletic clearance completed may not participate.

This is a reminder that Mats Polo officially begins 8:00 am on Monday, August 20^th. In order to get in the water, you must have your official sports clearance. If you haven’t already gotten this, you can get this on Monday, August 20^th @ 7:30 am before practice begins @ Miramonte High School in Vince Dell’Aquila, Miramonte Athletic Director’s office. Here’s the steps involved:

1. Get your residency verification which enables you to get your registration packet. Hopefully, you’ve already done this.

2. Go through the entire school registration process, including paying sports fees online at the Miramonte Webstore (http://miramonte.revtrak.net/tek9.asp.) through the 2007/2008 registration prompt. Be sure to print a receipt for Part I, Part II, and Part III of the registration process to sign and bring with you to receive your athletic clearance.

3. Bring all of the following forms with proof of payment of sports fee to Miramonte High School, Vince Dell’Aquila’s office: Part I, Part II, and Part III registration receipts, the Athletic Clearance form, the Athletic Ejection Policy Notification form and the Athletic Agreement form. All forms need to be signed.
